Spherion Corp.'s (NYSE: SFN) acquisition of Technisource Inc. is complete, the company announced the deal's closure on Monday. Spherion paid $140 million for Technisource, a Little Rock AR-based information technology staffing and solutions company.

Barrett Business Services Inc.'s (NASD: BBSI) completed its acquisition of Phillips Temps Inc. of Denver. Barrett is paying $1.6 million for the staffing firm that specializes in finance and accounting, engineering, information technology, marketing, and executive search. The deal is expected to add two to three cents per share.
