DLH Holdings Corp. (NASD: DLHC), a provider of healthcare and logistics staffing and services to the federal government, reported revenue rose 19.3 percent to $12.6 million in its fiscal third quarter ended June 30 from $10.6 million in the year-ago period.
Gross margin fell to 12.6 percent in the third quarter from 14.3 percent the third quarter of the last year.
DLH reported a net loss of $568,000, compared with a net loss of $140,000 in the year-ago period. The company cited expenses due to staff adjustments and higher than usual bid and proposal expenses for the loss.
