First-quarter revenue at healthcare staffing firm Crdentia Corp. (OTCBB: CRDT.OB) rose while its first-quarter loss narrowed.

Crdentia reported first-quarter revenue of $10.6 million, up 30.7% from $8.1 million in the first quarter of 2007.

The company reported a first-quarter net loss of $2.3 million, compared with a net loss of $6.6 million in the first quarter of last year. Gross margin improved to 21.8% from 21.1%.
