Corporate Resource Services name new president

July 23, 2014

New York-based staffing firm Corporate Resource Services Inc. (NASD: CRRS) promoted Mark S. Levine to the position of president. He will also continue to serve as chief operating officer.

Levine takes over the role from John P. Messina, who has served as president since March 2009 and will remain the firm’s chief executive officer and chairman of the board.

“Based on the attention I need to devote to our strategic growth, it was important for me to step down as president and for CRS to promote Mark Levine to that post,” said Messina. “Mark has been with the company for more than seven years and has overseen its dramatic growth as chief operating officer. The company is fortunate to now have him as president as we continue to grow our business.”

Levine has been COO of Corporate Resource Services since 2011 and was COO of its founding company, AccountAbilities Inc., since February 2007. Levine previously held executive positions at Accretive Solutions Inc., Stratus Services Group and Corestaff, as well as leadership roles at Norrell Services Inc. and Dun & Bradstreet.

In addition to president, Messina has served as CEO of Corporate Resource Services since October 2012, as a member of the board of directors since April 2007, and as chairman of the board since May 2012.
