Corporate Resource Services ends remaining customer relationships

March 13, 2015

Corporate Resource Services as of March 11 sold or transferred substantially all of its remaining customer relationships, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. A number of customers has already received termination notices. The company, which ranked as the 22nd-largest staffing firm last year, reported ongoing revenues will be minimal, if any, at the end of the termination of services period.

Corporate Resource Services will close its remaining production offices. The cost associated with the elimination of these expenses, which include lease termination expenses and other related costs, cannot be estimated at this time, the company said in the filing.

The company previously sold its Corporate Resource Development subsidiary to Noor Staffing Group Corporate this month for $7.3 million at closing and $2.5 million over the next 41 months.

Corporate Resource Services initially announced in February plans to sell some or all of its staffing operations after its PEO service provider filed for bankruptcy protection citing as much as $100 million in federal tax debt.
