Corestaff parent replaces top U.S. exec

January 14, 2009

Impellam Group replaced the head of its North American operations, which include Corestaff Services. The Luton, England-based company said its new North American president and CEO will be James Boone. Former President and CEO Steven Drexel resigned and has left the group, according to the company.

Boone comes to Impellam from Nosal Partners, a San Francisco-based executive search firm, where he was a managing partner and member of its global alliance operating committee. Boone had also served as president of the Americas and chairman of the global operating committee at Korn/Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY). Prior to Korn/Ferry, he was senior executive search partner and member of the global executive committee with Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII).

Corestaff ranked as the 43rd-largest staffing company in the U.S., according to Staffing Industry Analysts' list of largest U.S. staffing firms.
