CorTech acquires Southern California-based staffing provider

September 22, 2015

CorTech, a global staffing provider based in Atlanta, acquired a Southern California recruiting firm as part of plans to add up to $110 million in sales via acquisitions by the end of next year.

The company aims to add $30 million of annual sales through strategic acquisitions by the end of 2015 and another $60 million to $80 million of sales through additional acquisitions by the end of 2016. It is seeking specific types of industrial and professional skill category operations with multiple offices.

CorTech acquired La Jolla, Calif.-based RecruitPro Inc., which gives CorTech a physical presence in the California market and adds higher gross margin professional recruitment and sales staff to CorTech’s product portfolio.

The transaction closed Sept. 21; terms were not disclosed.

The RecruitPro brand will operate as RecruitPro (A CorTech Company). Sales and recruitment staff — but not executives — will remain with the company.

CorTech has been working remotely in the Golden State for over a decade, but this marks its first physical office in the state.

“We are excited to add the RecruitPro team to our family and extremely impressed with what they have accomplished over the years,” said CorTech CEO Vincent Rossy. “The fantastic talent RecruitPro has working in the local office supporting their staffing solution will fit well into the CorTech family and we look forward to the integration.”

Cortech ranks seventh on Staffing Industry Analysts list of fastest-growing staffing firms in the US, logging a compound annual growth rate of 55.9% and $145.0 million in 2014 US staffing revenue. It also ranks on the 2015 list of largest staffing firms in the US.
