CDI Corp. (NYSE: CDI) announced its CDI IT Solutions unit was chosen by Citrix Systems Inc. to serve as a prime vendor to provide information technology staffing.

The deal calls for CDI to provide both temporary IT staff and direct hire placements.

Citrix is an IT firm whose products include GoToMeeting and GoToMyPC. Citrix posted annual revenue of $1.61 billion in 2009.
