Contract watch - Adecco, Kforce, TechTeam, Spencer

Adecco Group North America announced a recruitment processes outsourcing contract, Kforce Inc. (NASD: KFRC) reported a new government deal and TechTeam Global Inc. (NASD: TEAM) announced a contract renewal that includes the providing of staffing. In addition, The Wall Street Journal reported executive search firm Spencer Stuart is being hired on to find new board members at General Motors.

Adecco Group North America announced it signed a recruitment process outsourcing deal with Morgan Stanley, a global financial services firm.

Kforce reported its government solutions division was awarded a contract by the Air Combat Command to provide information technology computer systems administration and financial systems administrator support. The one-year contract has three more one-year options and is valued at more than $5.9 million if all options are exercised. The work will be performed at various Air Force bases in the U.S.

TechTeam Global said tractor and equipment maker Deere & Company renewed its service contract through 2012. The deal calls for TechTeam to provide help desk support and technical staffing in North America and Europe.

The Wall Street Journal reported that General Motors hired Spencer Stuart to replace at least half of its 12 directors at the behest of the U.S. Treasury Department. Spencer Stuart is assisting in search at several firms receiving Treasury funding, according to the article.
