Guidant Group Inc., a Houston-based managed services provider, announced it landed a contract to manage the contingent labor program at the University of Southern California.

USG People, a European staffing firm, said its Start People division and Jark Recruitment, a United Kingdom-based staffing firm, received a joint contract in France and the United Kingdom from mobile electronics supplier Delphi Corp. valued in the millions of euros. USG and Jark signed a strategic cooperation agreement with each other in June.
