Cameron Search | Staffing, a San Antonio-based staffing provider, signed a contract with Mercury Retail Services to recruit for jobs that include management positions, route drivers and administrative placements. The workers will placed on a temp-to-direct hire basis with Mercury having 90 days to evaluate each candidate. Cameron recruiters will be at Mercury's offices in San Antonio, Houston and Dallas. Terms of the contract were not released. Mercury plans to hire more than 500 people in 2011, Cameron Search reported. 

Mercury provides retailers across the U.S. with services that include merchandising, stocking, product rotation, mystery shoppers and other services. It has more than 1,600 employees throughout the U.S.

The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch newspaper reported Teleperformance USA is hiring 425 temporary workers for a call center in central Ohio. The workers will staff operations for an unnamed smart phone provider, the newspaper reported. Teleperformance USA provides call center services and staffing.
