Comsys buys translation firm

July 01, 2008

Comsys IT Partners Inc. (NASD: CITP) acquired ASET International Services Corp., a provider of foreign language translation, publishing, audio/video production and simultaneous translation services for conferences and other events in more than 140 languages, the company said.

Terms of the deal were not announced, but Comsys said the acquisition should add to earnings in 2008. ASET's former owners, Erika Nobel Hendzel and Kevin Hendzel, will remain with the company.

Houston-based Comsys ranked No. 23 on Staffing Industry Analysts' list of largest U.S. staffing firms. ASET is based in Arlington VA.
