The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission announced a lawsuit against Administaff Inc. (NYSE: ASF), a Texas-based professional employer organization, and Conn-X LLC, a cable service provider in the Baltimore area, alleging religious discrimination.

While working for Conn-X, Scott Jacobson and Joey Jacobson were subjected to physical and verbal harassment starting in September 2005 because of their religion, Judaism, according to the EEOC. Anti-semitic slurs were used and a swastika was put on Scott Jacobson's work vehicle, the EEOC reported. Also Scott Jacobson was forced into a trash bin for the amusement of managers.

Administaff cut its co-employment status with Conn-X shortly after Scott Jacobson filed a discrimination charge, according to the EEOC. The commission reported it's moving ahead with a lawsuit after first attempting to reach a pre-litigation settlement.
