Command Center revenue falls 4%

Command Center Inc. (OTCBB: CCNI) reported second-quarter revenue fell 4.0 percent year over year to $23.3 million. However, gross margin at the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho-based industrial staffing provider improved to 25.3 percent from 24.8 percent in the year-ago quarter.

“The company has placed greater emphasis on obtaining and retaining better business with better margins,” said President and CEO Bubba Sandford. “We fully intend to maintain and increase revenue once our initiatives are fully implemented, but we anticipate doing so with increased control of costs and gross margins.”

Net income fell 43.9 percent in the second quarter to $472,573 from $842,583 in the second quarter of last year.
