Ciber Inc. (NYSE: CBR), a Greenwood, Colo.-based IT staffing and solutions firm, appointed Mark Floyd as an independent director to fill a vacancy on its board of directors, according to a filing Friday with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Floyd will serve on the board’s audit committee.

Ciber in April entered into an agreement with a stockholder group to revamp its board composition.
