Ciber COO to retire

October 02, 2007

Information technology staffing and services company Ciber Inc. (NYSE: CBR) said today executive VP and COO Dave Girard is retiring. "Dave joined us in September 2005 for two-to-three years, and leaving as we begin planning for fiscal 2008 is a natural time to organize this," said President and CEO Mac Slingerlend.

The company also announced promotions for Tony Hadzi and Joe Mancuso. Hadzi's responsibilities will now include the company's branch offices in the west and Ciber India as well as domestic operational marketing. Mancuso will oversee the company's Midwestern and Eastern offices and its travel and hospitality consulting practice among other things.

In August, the company said Senior VP and CFO Dave Durham was leaving to take a position at StarTek Inc., a business process outsourcing company.
