Cherokee Nation Buys Staffing Provider

Cherokee Nation Businesses completed its acquisition of ETI Professionals, a Lakewood, Colo.-based project management and staffing firm.

ETI has 375 employees in 40 states. Ninety percent of the company's workers are on assignment at  federal government agencies such as the Department of Commerce, the Department of Defense and others. Staffing segments served by ETI include engineering, information technology, research and development, and clerical.

The company has offices in Lakewood; San Antonio; Tampa, Fla.; and Baltimore, Md.; and Shirley, Mass.

ETI's legal name will become Cherokee Nation Government Solutions, but it will continue to serve clients under the ETI name. Susan Holland, president and founder of ETI, will remain with the company as will part owners Greg Kilkenny and Allen Christy.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.

Cherokee Nation Businesses was established by the Cherokee Nation Job Growth Act in 2005 to serve as an economic engine of the Cherokee Nation.
