Chartwell acquires Utah firm

July 02, 2015

Chartwell Staffing Solutions, a staffing provider based in Lancaster, Penn., acquired Eveready Staffing and Training in Ogden, Utah.

The transaction closed July 1; terms were not disclosed.

Eveready will rebrand as Chartwell. The owners are retiring, but all Eveready staff and managers remain with the firm with their existing titles.

Chartwell now has two Utah offices, including one in Salt Lake City.

“We are very happy about our new acquisition and have welcomed our new Ogden staff into the family,” said Chartwell National Marketing Director Catherine Lockey. “We plan to continue our growth in the Utah market.”

Chartwell in March assumed control of a majority of the teams and 30 locations of Corporate Resource Services; CRS at one time ranked as the 22nd-largest US staffing firm before recently ceasing operations. Chartwell now counts 41 locations in 12 states.

The 3-year-old company is owned by Tracy Kidan.
