Chartwell Staffing Solutions, a staffing provider based in Lancaster, Penn., acquired New York City based Tiger Information Systems.

The transaction closed Oct. 29; terms were not announced. Tiger Information Systems has been rebranded as Chartwell Staffing Solutions and Chartwell will retain the firm’s staff.

Chartwell now has two New York City offices. The original New York City office provides financial, HR and office staff; office support services; employee benefit services; financial presentation services; and applicant screening services to the greater New York market. The Tiger acquisition adds IT, legal and creative staffing as well as IT training and project services to its offerings.

Combined, the two New York offices have served the following clients: Bank of New York Mellon, Citigroup, J.P. Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo.

The Tiger acquisition comes on the heels of Chartwell’s acquisition this week of Georgia-based Victory Staffing Solutions LLC.

In mid-October, Chartwell opened a new Harrisburg, Pa., its sixth office in Pennsylvania. In September, it opened new offices in Sumner, Wash., and Edison, NJ.
