The Census Bureau reported the U.S. employment services industry had revenue of $63.60 billion in the fourth quarter. That’s down 0.1 percent from the third quarter but up 6.2 percent from the fourth quarter of 2011. The estimate is based on seasonally adjusted numbers.

Employment services include employment placement agencies, executive search firms, temporary employment agencies and professional employer organizations.
