The Census Bureau reported the U.S. employment services industry had revenue of $63.68 billion in the third quarter. That’s roughly flat compared to the third quarter of 2012 based on seasonally adjusted estimates. Third-quarter revenue rose 0.4 percent from the second quarter of this year.

Employment services include employment placement agencies, executive search firms, temporary employment agencies and professional employer organizations.
