The U.S. Census Bureau reported today that third-quarter revenue in the U.S. employment services industry rose to an estimated $59.66 billion, up 6.2 percent from the third quarter of last year. The estimate is based on seasonally adjusted numbers.

The employment services category measured by the bureau includes employment placement agencies, executive search firms, temporary employment agencies and professional employer organizations.
