CareerBuilder acquired software provider Broadbean from Daily Mail and General Trust Plc for an undisclosed sum, the Chicago-based job board announced today.

Broadbean provides job distribution, candidate sourcing and big data analytics software. The company posts jobs on more than 6,000 job boards and social networks in 183 countries and has more than 60,000 users. The company distributes more than 2 million jobs and generates more than 10 million job applications each month. Like CareerBuilder, it also provides analytics around sourcing candidates and hires. Headquartered in London, Broadbean has offices in the U.S., France, Germany, the Netherlands and Australia.

CareerBuilder.com has more than 24 million visitors per month and 1 million jobs. It is owned by Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE:GCI), Tribune Company and The McClatchy Company (NYSE:MNI). CareerBuilder and its subsidiaries operate in the United States, Europe, South America, Canada and Asia.

“CareerBuilder is excited to expand our portfolio and continue the rapid growth of our global HR SaaS operation,” said CareerBuilder CEO Matt Ferguson. “With the addition of Broadbean, we are the unparalleled leader in unifying the recruiter experience in one pre-hire platform. Clients will benefit from broader job distribution and one simple workflow to manage all external and internal sources for candidates.
