Care Communications Revenue Up 26%

December 12, 2011

Care Communications Inc., a provider of health information consulting and staffing, reported revenue rose 26 percent in the first three quarters of 2011 when compared with the same period in the previous year. The company said use of its ICD-10 transition services has grown rapidly. ICD-10 is a new system of medical codes used for reporting diagnoses and billing.

“The challenges currently facing healthcare providers, including ICD-10 implementation, are significant and can lead to lost revenue if not managed correctly,” said Hal Walsh, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Care Communications. “These transitions are beyond what has taken place in the past 35 years of our service to the healthcare industry.”
