Canada’s fastest-growing temp jobs

May 02, 2013

Licensed practical nurses and information systems analysts and consultants are among the fastest-growing temporary help jobs in Canada, according to a list released by CareerBuilder Canada and Economic Modeling Specialists International.

“With half of the employers saying they plan to hire temporary or contract workers sometime in 2013, it is imperative that staffing and recruiting firms be part of everyone's job search strategy,” said Ross Levadi, director, Canadian Solutions, Staffing and Recruiting Group. “There is a myth that temporary positions are just that, temporary, but nearly two in five employers say they plan to transition their temporary workers into full time roles sometime this year.”
