CTPartners exec, at one time in line to be CEO, joins Heidrick

June 01, 2015

CTPartners (NYSE MKT: CTP) executive Sylvain Dhenin, at one time in line to become CEO at the executive search firm, joined Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII). Dhenin will serve as Heidrick’s managing partner — Western Europe.

Dhenin was announced as successor to CTPartners’ embattled CEO Brian Sullivan in a 10-K form. However, the company announced in April that Chief Operating Officer David Nocifora would take on the CEO job. Dhenin was to remain as head of European, Middle East and Asia Pacific operations.

At Heidrick, Dhenin will have operating responsibility for France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and the Benelux countries. In addition, he will serve as a senior member of the firm’s CEO and board practice in Europe.

“Sylvain is deeply respected as a strategic talent and leadership advisor to boards and chief executives,” said Jory Marino, executive VP and global head of markets – Heidrick & Struggles. “He will strengthen and grow our commercial presence across Western Europe. Sylvain has a record of success connecting talent solutions to his clients’ business strategies. This is exactly the focus Heidrick & Struggles is bringing to our clients globally.”

Dhenin will be based in the firm's Zurich office and reports to Luis Urbano, region leader — Europe and Africa.
