CTG names interim operations exec and interim CFO, solutions exec steps down

November 03, 2014

CTG (NASD: CTG) named Filip Gyde as interim executive VP of operations and named Treasurer John Laubacker as interim CFO. It also reported Michael Colson, senior VP of solutions, left to pursue other opportunities. The announcements at the Buffalo, N.Y.-based IT staffing provider come after CFO Brendan Harrintgon took on the role of interim CEO following the death of former CEO James Boldt.

Gyde previously served as senior VP and general manager of CTG Europe. Gyde joined CTG in 1990 when the company acquired Rendeck International, a multi-national European IT consulting firm, where he was a senior business consultant. He held several management positions prior to being named general manager of CTG’s European operations in 2001.

Laubacker joined CTG in 1996 and was named treasurer in 2006. Prior to joining CTG, Laubacker was a senior manager at KPMG from 1988 to 1996.

“These new appointments enhance our ability to lead the company through this transition period,” said Harrington. “Filip will support me in managing CTG’s operations while John will assume the responsibilities of the CFO until a permanent CEO is appointed."

CTG last month reported third-quarter revenue fell 3.9 percent year over year to $96.8 million.
