Another survey found that 5% of CFOs plan to add finance and accounting staff while 8% planned reductions for a net decrease of 3% in the third quarter. That compares with a net decrease of 2% in the second-quarter survey.

The surveys questioned more than 1,400 CIOs and more than 1,400 CFOs across the U.S.
