CIBER 2007 revenue rises 8.6% to $1.08 billion

Information technology services and staffing company CIBER Inc. (NYSE: CBR) posted revenue of more than $1 billion for the first time in full-year 2007.

Revenue rose 8.6% to $1.08 billion in 2007 from $995.6 million in 2006. Net income rose 17.3% to $29.0 million in 2007 from $24.7 million in the previous year. Gross margin edged up to 27.0% from 26.7%.

Fourth-quarter 2007 revenue rose 12.8% to $290.5 million from $257.5 million in the same period in the previous year.

Net income, however, fell 4.2% to $7.1 million in the fourth quarter from $7.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2006. Gross margin slipped to 26.1% from 26.5%.
