CHG Healthcare Services announced an action plan to handle H1N1 flu pandemic.

The plan includes severity level updates -- green, orange, yellow and red -- to indicate percentage of staff absent due to illness and the extent to which business operations are impacted, according to the company. Each severity level includes a predetermined course of action.

In addition, the plan has an enhanced company paid time off policy during flu season, and CHG is providing 24-hour telephone support to employees.

CHG also said it issued tissue, hand sanitizer and disinfectant to more than 1,100 employee desks.
