CDI Corp. (NYSE: CDI) said it's forming a new company to provide engineering design, project management and construction management in Mexico and Latin America. It will focus primarily in the process power, industrial and alternative fuels industry. The new company will be based in Tampico, Mexico. CDI said it's joining with Proyectos y Construcciones del Puerto SA de CV, a privately owned Mexican firm, on the new company, which will be named CDI - PYCOPSA Ingenieria y Construccion.

CDI is a Philadelphia-based engineering and information technology services and staffing firm.
