CDC Global Services, a provider of information technology solutions and staffing, named Chung Kiu Wong as CEO.

Wong takes over from Peter Yip, who will continue to serve as CEO of CDC Corp., the parent company of CDC Global Services.

Wong most recently served as managing principal of Hong Kong-based iASPEC, a group of companies that provides IT consulting, software products and services in Hong Kong, China and North America. He received a doctorate in mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley.

CDC Corp. is based in Hong Kong. However, CDC Global Services has operations in North America.
