Boyden adds Netherlands firm

September 22, 2014

Boyden Global Executive Search, headquartered in New York, announced NMC-Nijsse International’s Amsterdam office joined the company. The non-financial transaction closed today and the firm will transition to the Boyden Netherlands brand.

NMC-Nijsse was established in 1983 by Berry and Jack Nijsse, who were among the founders of executive search in the Netherlands, according to the company. NMC-Nijsse’s Amsterdam office has 10 employees; Joost Goudsmit is now managing partner and Alain Kok and Bert Pilon are partners.

“The new Boyden Netherlands team will be an integral part of our firm’s strategy to provide our clients with the best talent advisory services in EMEA and across the globe,” said Trina Gordon, president and CEO of Boyden World Corp.

“In recent years, international markets have become even more critical in meeting client needs for transformational senior leadership,” said Goudsmit. “Joining Boyden brings immediate benefits for our clients and candidates. With the expertise, knowledge and global reach of Boyden we have strengthened our position as a premier strategic advisor.”

Boyden has more than 70 offices in over 40 countries.
