Staffing Industry Analysts announced the winners of the “2014 Best Staffing Firms to Work For” contest. Results of the survey, which was sponsored by Monster, were announced today at Staffing Industry Analysts’ Executive Forum North America in Orlando, Fla.

The Best Staffing Firms to Work For are categorized by the number of internal employees. The firms placing first in North America are OneStaff Medical LLC in the small category, Frontline Source Group Inc. in the midsize category and Collabera Inc. in the large category. In the UK, Gibbs S3 placed first in the small category and ConSol Partners placed first in the midsize to large category.

The lists have been produced annually since 2011. Three firms have ranked among finalists in the Best Staffing Firms to Work For competition each year since that year: LaSalle Network, Roth Staffing Companies and Signature Consultants.

Quantum Workplace, an independent research firm specializing in employee engagement conducted the program for Staffing Industry Analysts. Employees of nearly 150 staffing firms were surveyed.

Methodology

Internal employees at each firm taking part were asked to complete a 40-question online survey that measures 10 key engagement categories focusing on items including teamwork, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits.

In order to gather statistically sound results, participating companies must have reached a minimum level of employee participation, based on total number of employees. Responses from each question of each completed survey were compiled and evaluated. Companies were ranked in each size category according to their overall composite score. The total number of survey responses is also factored in to the overall score. Winners were chosen based entirely on the survey results.

The Best Staffing Firms to Temp For were ranked based on their Net Promoter Score, which was calculated based on temps’ responses to questions like how likely is it they would recommend this staffing firm to a friend. Each firm earned an NPS of more than 70.
