Belgium – Bump in interim activity in November

The number of hours worked by temporary workers across Belgium increased by + 4.29%  during November, compared with the same month last year, according to the latest figures from Federgon, the Belgian Federation of Staffing Agencies. The number of hours worked by blue-collar workers increased by +3.22% compared with last year while white-collar workers worked +5.82% more hours.

Compared with October, the number of hours worked by temporary workers across Belgium increased by +0.67% in November on a month-on-month basis. The number of hours worked by white-collar workers increased by +0.70% while blue-collar workers worked +0.64% more hours.

The Federgon Index reached 222.1 points in November, up from 220.6 points in October. The index is used as an indicator of the level of activity each month in comparison with the 100 index points in January 1995 when the index was launched.
