Belcan formally announces separation of staffing brand

January 21, 2014

Belcan Corp., a Cincinnati-based engineering firm, rebranded its staffing division to BelFlex Staffing Network and launched it as a sister company, effective Jan. 9.

The staffing division expects 2013 revenue to exceed $115 million. It counts 5,000 employees and provides staffing services to customers in the distribution, fulfillment and manufacturing sectors through 25 offices in the Midwest and Southeast. A new BelFlex headquarters is scheduled to open in May in Sycamore Township, Ohio.

The ownership and management team of BelFlex will remain in place. Belcan Corp. Chairman Candace McCaw and CEO Michael McCaw will hold the same roles with BelFlex Staffing Network. Todd Cross will remain president and lead day-to-day operations. Vice President Bob Baer and CFO Richard Schneider will remain members of the BelFlex leadership team.

“We are committed to investing in this culture and providing BelFlex with the resources it needs to continue its rapid growth and become an industry leader,” said McCaw.

Belcan Corp. employs more than 11,000 and produced almost $700 million in revenue in 2013.
