November 13, 2015

BelFlex Staffing Network, a light industrial staffing agency, will acquire the assets of Palmer Temps Inc., effective Nov. 15.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Middletown, Ohio-based Palmer Temps was founded in 1986 by Mary Jane Palmer Nunlist. Her husband, Richard Nunlist, has led the firm since her death in 2007.

“Palmer shares our unwavering dedication to employee and customer success,” said BelFlex President and COO Todd Cross. “They have built a strong reputation in the Middletown market, and we are honored to have their employees join the BelFlex team.”

Belflex, which ranks No. 28 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest industrial temporary staffing firms in the US, previously operated as part of Belcan Corp. It broke off from Belcan this year.

BelFlex will acquire more firms in the future and focus on firms in the light industrial industry and firms in the south, southeast and Midwest, according to the company.
