The Bartech Group, of Livonia MI, named Gary Peck as executive VP and chief operating officer.

Peck formerly served as head of U.S. commercial staffing operations for Spherion Corp. (NYSE: SFN) and as COO of Medical Staffing Network Holdings Inc. (NYSE: MRN).

Bartech provides engineering, information technology, financial, clerical, and light industrial staffing. It also provides business process outsourcing and vendor management services.
