Bartech appoints CFO

Bartech appointed James Hanrahan as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Hanrahan will oversee information services, legal and human resource administrative functions as well as play a role in developing strategy.

Hanrahan will report to David Barfield, president and CEO of the Southfield, Mich.-based staffing provider.

“Jim’s extensive background in finance, operations and strategy brings a unique set of skills and industry experience to Bartech and will complement the strengths of our senior leadership team,” Barfield said. “I look forward to working closely with Jim as a partner and integral member of our executive staff.”

Hanrahan most recently served as executive vice president and general manager for a division of CDI Corp. (NYSE: CDI). And he has more than 20 years of experience in professional services, including 10 years of experience in talent management and staffing. He has spent eight years as a CFO.

Bartech is on the list of largest U.S. staffing firms.
