Bartech adds execs to management team

July 24, 2015

Bartech, a staffing and managed services provider, added two executives to its management team. Karen Gonzalez was named senior VP of global solutions and Mark Sawicki also joined the firm in the newly created role of VP of client strategy.

Gonzalez most recently held senior roles in the national and strategic account divisions at Randstad and Ajilon Professional Staffing, where she was responsible for new business and collaboration across multiple business units. She will lead Bartech’s business development efforts globally, and report directly to President and CEO David Barfield.

“Karen’s leadership style and industry knowledge bring great talent and strength to Bartech,” said Barfield. “Her business development and sales management experience will build upon our strategy to assist prospective clients’ efforts to understand evolving talent markets and the value proposition associated with our services.”

Sawicki will work with Bartech’s program teams to enhance the overall client experience and serve as a strategic thought partner. Prior to joining Bartech, Sawicki spent more than 20 years in consulting and corporate leadership roles across the pharmaceutical, financial services and internet/media industries and has worked for firms including Aon Hewitt, PwC and Carbon Media Group.

“The success of every business requires dynamic, capable and experienced leaders who share a common goal in the successful growth of their company,” said Brian Salkowski, senior VP, managed solutions. “David continues to build and develop a leadership team to ensure achievement of our aggressive growth and service objectives.”
