Barrett and Allied Healthcare CFOs leave

May 06, 2008

Chief financial officers at two staffing firms, Barrett Business Services Inc. (NASD: BBSI) and Allied Healthcare International Inc. (NASD: AHCI), tendered their resignations.

Barrett said CFO Michael Mulholland resigned citing personal reasons. The Vancouver WA-based staffing firm and professional employer organization said it will search for a new CFO and named its controller, James Miller, as interim CFO. Miller has been controller at Barrett for more than 14 years.

Allied Healthcare, a UK-based healthcare staffing company, said CFO David Moffatt will leave effective Sept. 30. The company said Finance Director Paul Weston will take on the CFO role at that time. Weston joined Allied in 2004, prior to that he served as group financial controller at SSL PLC, a manufacturer and distributor of healthcare and consumer brands. Allied had also announced a new CEO in January, Alexander "Sandy" Young.
