Axium, Chimes could be in financial trouble

January 08, 2008
Axium International, the parent of Ensemble Chimes Global, may be experiencing financial difficulties and could possibly be filing for bankruptcy, according to multiple sources. Ensemble Chimes Global President Michael Werblun and executive VP Lisa Quattrini are no longer with the company. Meanwhile, Axium could not be reached for comment, despite numerous phone calls.

Chimes was ranked as the No. 1 VMS provider in our VMS Marketplace Profile (based on number of unique temporaries passing through the system in 4Q06); click here for the report. Axium purchased Chimes from Computer Horizons International Inc. in February 2007; Axium subsequently sued Computer Horizons for matters related to the sale and settled for $175,000 in December 2007.
