The president and CEO of Act-1 Group, Janice Bryant Howroyd received the legacy award from the National Association of Women Business Owners-Los Angeles chapter.

Adecco Group North America received the 2009 Congress of Diversity Executives Leadership in Diversity Award by Career Communications Group.

Sonu Ratra, co-founder and president of information technology staffing firm Akraya, received the 2009 enterprising women of the year award from Enterprising Women Magazine.

Allegis Group Services was presented named top supplier by Rockwell Collins. Allegis also received Rockwell Collins' indirect supplier of the year award.

SkillStorm announced it was named of South Florida's "Best Places to Work" by the South Florida Business Journal.
