The co-founder and executive VP of Volt Information Sciences Inc. (NYSE: VOL), Jerome Shaw, was chosen as an Ellis Island Medal of Honor recipient by the National Coalition of Organizations. Shaw "is being recognized for his enduring commitment to programs that promote the diversification of the U.S. workforce as well as for his efforts that mentor students, helping them become the leaders of tomorrow," said NECO Executive Director Rosemarie Taglione.
