The award specifically recognizes suppliers for quality, cost, and delivery performance or improvement. As an award recipient, Bartech achieved superior performance in the areas of delivery, quality, lean initiatives and technology, competitive cost levels, service level metrics, management performance, and in its ability to develop initiatives to assist Delphi in its cost reduction efforts.

Inprax, a subsidiary of Aerotek, Inc. and a provider of quality control and product assurance services in the automotive manufacturing industry, was also selected as a recipient of Delphi 2008 Pinnacle Award. Inprax works with domestic and international original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and tiered suppliers to improve the quality of products in the supply chain.

Lombard IL-based staffing firm The Plus Group was recognized as outstanding supplier to AT&T. The company received one of 27 supplier recognition awards, and was noted for its contributions in the area of customer service.
