Analysts International Corp. (NASD: ANLY) announced President and CEO Elmer Baldwin will no longer serve in that role. In his place, the company named Andrew Borgstrom as president and CEO.

Borgstrom has been on Analysts' board since Mary 2008 and has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology services industry, according to the company.

Borgstrom spent the past five years as CEO of RapiDemand, a Chicago-based consulting company that helps businesses with developing growth strategies.

"In January 2008, we laid out a strategic plan designed to transform [Analysts International] into a value-driven IT services company," said Krzysztof Burhardt, board chairman. "While the company has made significant progress against its plan over the course of the past two years, we have not yet delivered the performance necessary to return AIC to profitability and position the company for long-term growth. It's time to take this organization to the next level and fully realize the potential that exists for AIC."

Analysts had named Baldwin as CEO back in November 2007. He had previously served as CEO of Born Information Services Inc.

Minneapolis-based Analysts International provides IT services and staffing. It ranked No. 54 on Staffing Industry Analysts' list of largest U.S. staffing firms.
