Analysts International Revenue Rises 2%

First-quarter revenue rose 1.6 percent at Analysts International Corp. (NASD: ANLY) to $26.7 million from $26.3 million in the first quarter of the previous year.

“We continue to see solid demand for our services in the market,” said President and CEO Brittany McKinney. “However, a couple of our large accounts reduced their IT spending, resulting in lower-than-anticipated revenue for the quarter.”

The Minneapolis-based information technology staffing and solutions firm posted first-quarter gross margin of 23.9 percent, up from 23.8 percent reported for the year-ago period.

Net income fell 2.0 percent to $198,000 in the first quarter from $202,000 in the year-ago period.
