February 06, 2008

Allstates Technical Services, a Birmingham AL-based technical staffing company, acquired the professional services division of AFL Network Services. The division will now operate as the telecom division of Allstates. Terms of the deal were not announced.

Employees have transitioned to Allstates; the division had between 80 and 100 contact workers. Ron Deese, a telecom staffing veteran, will lead Allstates' new division.

Allstates is a subsidiary of BE&K, a privately held engineering, construction, and maintenance company.
