Agency puts out RFP for healthcare IT flex staffing

The Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services announced in a press release that it published a 2013 “flex-staffing” request for proposals for U.S. businesses interested in becoming an approved vendor for healthcare IT services.

“As healthcare information technology continues to rapidly advance it is MiHIN's goal to continue growing our world-class team of flexible staffing resources comprised of the top technical talent dedicated to improving the healthcare experience,” said Jeff Livesay, associate director.

The Michigan Health Information Network Share Services is a public and private nonprofit collaboration between the state of Michigan, the Office of the National Coordinator, sub-state health information exchanges, insurers, payers, providers and patients.
