Advisor Looks at State’s Tough Staffing Bill

June 20, 2011

A proposed bill in Massachusetts that would get tough on staffing firms is reviewed in the June 2011 issue of the Legs & Reg Advisor. The bill would prohibit permanent placement and conversion fees in some instances, require written documentation for temporary workers and could require staffing firms doing business in Massachusetts also to have an office in that state. The Legs & Reg Advisor is produced by Staffing Industry Analysts in conjunction with employment law firm Littler Mendelson.
